Read what some of our AMAZING members are saying about FIT Nation:
Member of FIT Nation since: August 2011
Main reason for joining: Weight loss
Progress towards goal so far: 30+ pounds lost!
Out of the mouth of Jess: I joined FIT to lose weight and because it challenged me. I joined because some girlfriends kept bugging me about trying it, so I figured I would check it out.
Well I nearly died and gave up during the first class, but I came back because I enjoyed it, which seems very strange since it is so brutal and exhausting….but in a good way.
I have a ways to go still on my journey but so far I have lost about 30 pounds according to my doctor and I no longer have to wear a CPAP to sleep at night which is amazing and marriage saving. I don’t really have a weight or size goal, but I guess I would like to lose at least 30 pounds more. One of my goals down the road will be to run a 10K. I have run about 10 5k’s…..but I would like to step it up a little in the spring.
Since joining FIT I have much more energy, sleep far better at night and am healthier even as far as fending colds and bugs off. I have more confidence as well. I want to share my love of FIT with everyone because I honestly hated exercising, and have never found a program I have stuck with for this long.
Many times before class I am dreading it, but drag myself in no matter what because I need to and refuse to waste my membership. During classes I can feel the strength and improvements I have made on my journey. When class is over, I am always so glad….but always so thankful to every person in the class as well as the instructor. We did it again!!!!!!!! There is no other way to start my day!!!

Member of FIT Nation since: November 2011
Main reason for joining: Weight loss
Progress towards goal thus far: Weight loss, strength gain, improved balance
Out of the mouth of Alicia: The first time I tried Fun Intelligent Training was about a year and a half ago. I enjoyed the classes, but at the time I wasn’t committed to getting myself healthy and as I always had done in the past, I quickly came up with every reason in the book why I couldn’t make the classes. I gave up and quit, like I had done so many times before.
Fast forward to this past November and of course nothing had changed. My overall health wasn’t any better, my weight hadn’t dropped a pound, and my strength was still lacking. Nothing had changed because I hadn’t changed and that’s when I realized that I had had enough. I decided right then and there that I was once and for all through with being overweight and unhealthy, and a few hours later I walked back into FIT and have never looked back.
For someone that hated to work out, I absolutely LOVE going to FIT. I never thought I would ever become addicted to working out, but at FIT it’s hard not to.
It’s the whole package that makes it addicting and once class is over, I can’t wait until the next one. The trainers are top notch and absolutely amazing. They not only have the knowledge to help you achieve whatever fitness goals you have, but they encourage you every step of the way, and most importantly, they teach you the proper way to get in shape, which I love.
The people that you meet are also just as amazing. I never feel like I’m judged, and each and every one of them have been encouraging and supportive. The classes are always different and that’s what keeps it fun and exciting. Believe me, you’ll never get bored, and more than that, you’ll be amazed at what you can do that you never thought you could have.
In the little over a month that I have been back, I have gained so much. I have better balance and overall strength, and have also lost weight. I have gained knowledge and encouragement, and for the first time, I know that I have found a place where not only do I feel like I belong, but a place where my personal goals no matter how big or small, are important. I’m hooked…a FIT member for life!
Member of FIT Nation since: October 2011
Main reason for joining: Weight loss
Progress towards goal thus far: 12+ inches lost!!
Out of the mouth of Kelli: I began what I initially referred to as my “weight loss journey” back in the summer of 2008, at age 36 and weighing in at just under 300lbs. After having been through a series of personal challenges, including the death of my Nana, who I was very close with, and the end of my marriage, I finally realized that if I didn’t take control of my own life and do something for myself, that I would not see 46 – and even if I did, I would not be healthy.
I remember that July day at 5am - I walked less than a mile – and it was tough. But day after day I set my alarm and before I knew it I was walking a couple miles a day before my work day began. By September I had lost almost 20lbs on my own just by adding the walks to my daily routine. Later that month, I joined a Biggest Loser competition at my local community center. I wasn’t in it to compete necessarily, but more to keep myself on track. They offered what we were calling “boot camp” classes 2 nights a week. I added that to my routine. The first night at boot camp I left the room 3 times in embarrassment because I thought I was going to vomit. The trainer came out the last time and encouraged me to go back. Thank God she did – I went back and that was the beginning of what would be a huge change in my life. By May of 2009, I was down 75lbs and running my first 5k race all from working out and eating right most of the time. I still wasn’t at my weight loss goal – but I was well on my way.
By the spring of 2010, I changed my life all over again. I started a new relationship and I moved away from my friends and support system that I had relied so heavily on for the first part of my journey. I had gained back 20 of the 75lbs I lost back in 2009 and I was discouraged. After moving to the Concord area, I found myself wandering around trying to find the right match for me to continue with my journey. I joined one gym for $10 a month which was steal – but nobody knew whether I was there or not and there was no sense of community. I left there and joined another gym in Concord that was a nicer environment with more class options, etc. but still, aside from the “hello” when I waved my key card on the way in, there was little interaction and just no sense of a community or support.
And then it all changed – I was working at a charity golf tournament in September 2011 when I overheard Christina S. say that she had gone to the gym at 6am that morning because she had to get it in for the day. I asked the simple question – “where is your gym?” and that was it – the moment that changed everything. Christina told me all about F.I.T. and encouraged met to check it out. I told her where my journey had taken me so far and she was sure I would love F.I.T. It wasn’t long after that I sent Tony P. an email (or 2 or 3) with questions and before I knew it I was attending my first Boot Camp. From the moment my foot crossed the threshold of the door I knew I had found HOME. It sounds corny, but it is the absolute truth. The sense of community and support is amazing. I feel like Eric, Tony & Jeff are there for me – like they are my friends & my trainers and that they care enough to see me reach my full potential. That is worth EVERY cent!
So here I am a few months in to being part of F.I.T. Nation – and my goal has changed a bit. When I started it was all about what I was going to see on the scale and how quickly it would change. Oddly enough – the scale hasn’t moved much - but I am a completely different person. My clothes fit amazing (I just took a pair of Levi’s out of the back of the closet that have been there for a year because they were, umm, snug shall we say), and I feel stronger than ever.
In just a month, I will be turning 40 - I feel better now than I have in my entire life. Is the number on the scale where I’d like it to be? No – but it will get there – I have every confidence in the guidance of Eric, Jeff & Tony – and now every confidence in MYSELF that I will get there. It isn’t easy – at any given time one or more parts of my body hurt – but it’s the “good” hurt and I will NOT give up.
This is a long testimonial, an it includes more than my time at F.I.T. – but I think it is important for those that are really struggling with being very overweight to see that it is sometimes a long haul – with ups and downs. My personal goal is to some day (sooner rather than later) become a trainer and a life coach who can share my story and support those who may be starting out where I was.
Thank you so much for the opportunity to share my story. There is more to come – so stay tuned!!!!!!!!!

Member of FIT Nation since: April 2010
Main reason for joining: Weight loss
Progress towards goal thus far: 99 pounds lost
Out of the mouth of Courtney: After having spent nearly the last two years of my life coming to FIT, I can honestly say that joining was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. As cliché as that may sound to someone who has never walked through the doors of this amazing facility, those of you that are already members of FIT Nation, you know exactly what I mean.
Right before I joined FIT I decided that I was going to stop doing things in my life that made me miserable, and I was going to start doing things that made me happy. Having obtained my Master’s degree at the age of 24, I knew that my educational background was solid, I was pretty happy with the way that my personality was so I knew I didn’t need to improve that aspect of myself either. I finally faced myself in the mirror and thought “maybe it’s time for me to change physically”.
I started doing bootcamp three days a week. When I first joined the majority of the classes I came to were only composed of Tony and myself. The first class I observed, the second, third and fourth classes I tried to not work hard and would ask Tony to re-show me the same move over and over and over again so that the amount of time that I actually worked out was very minimal. Eventually I figured, what the heck…if I’m going to come and Tony only has me to deal with I might as well actually see what I was capable of. He proved to me that I’m capable of so much more than I ever dreamed.
Without missing a class in my first 8 months and following Tony’s advice on nutrition, I lost 78 pounds. A few months later, I was down 99 pounds! This, if I’m being completely honest, was almost the worst thing that could have happened to me. To get that close to such a major accomplishment, and not be able to reach it for MONTHS afterward was extremely frustrating (to say the least). This past summer I moved to MA for a job, stopped coming to FIT for nearly 5 months, made all the wrong nutritional choices, and I’m sure you can guess what happened to my progress.
I’ve since moved back to NH and have been back at FIT for the past two months. I’m now up to five classes a week and am SLOWLY starting to get back on track. It would have been way easier for me just to walk away when I moved to MA. I could have quit, no questions asked, no reasons given. But didn’t. I had 1,000 reasons not to come back, not to commit myself fully to FIT again, and I decided to choose the hard path and face my biggest critic once again, myself.
I am more motivated than ever to smash the big 100 pound weight loss mark and then some. Tony was the reason I joined, but the people I’ve met along the way is the reason I continue to come back class, after class, after class. It is because of FIT Nation that I have the drive that I have and continue to have fun while working out. FIT is more than a gym, it’s more than “exercise”, it quickly becomes a huge part of your life…if YOU let it.

As a former couch potato, and the holder of a local gym membership that was collecting dust, I can tell anyone who has doubts or thinks they can’t do it………YOU CAN!!!!! I was sold after my first free visit, and have not stopped since. I have been going to FIT since February 2011, and I have lost major inches, fat, weight, and gained a whole new respect for what my body can do. I have more energy, confidence, I am getting healthy!!!! I can’t believe how amazing FIT is. each instructor, each workout, every member, has helped me start this new way of life and I’m so happy. I have started running road races, which is something I never would have had the courage, or stamina to ever attempt if I hadn’t been training at FIT. Yes, it’s hard work, but not impossible, every workout is different and challenging, and the trainers are fantastic about modifying when you need it, and pushing when you need it. Yes, you can do!!! I am the picture of the person who says to you, “If I can do it, anyone can!!”

If you’re like me going to the gym meant hopping on a treadmill, bike, or elliptical for 30 minutes then hitting weights for 30 minutes. I did this 3-5 times a week, yoga 3 times a week, and “thought” I was in pretty decent shape. The first class I attended at FIT was a Dainty Boys training session my husband brought me to and I got my butt handed to me. I was instantly in love. That’s when I knew I had to find a way to come train at this amazing place. I’ve been doing bootcamp 2-3 times a week for the last 6 months and I’m stronger and more explosive than I’ve ever been. Great trainers, a supportive community, and inventive and fun workouts are few of the many reasons you should come check it out.
Jim
I have been going to gyms for 25 years…I have done kettlebells and P90X (Tony Horton’s got nothing on Eric, Tony and Jeff). FIT is by FAR the best workout program I have tried. I was seeing and feeling results within the first couple weeks. I improved my 5k time by 5 minutes!!! That was without doing any running…only Boot Camp 2-3 times per week. Not only are the workouts great the FIT staff and fellow students are all friendly and supportive.

I don’t like gyms. I have tried almost every workout video there is then I tried running to help me lose weight. Nothing seemed to work. So my friend, Renee, convinced me to try a free bootcamp class and I was hooked!! The workouts are always different so you are never bored. Everyone who goes to FIT is so welcoming. We push each other and motivate each other everytime. We have SO MUCH FUN! Tony, Eric and Jeff are AMAZING! So many times I have thought “There is no way I can do that” and I am always surprised that I can and it feels amazing! Tons of modifications if you aren’t the most fit or if something isn’t feeling good. This isn’t just any gym, this is the BEST! After 2 kids, 10 years of dieting and exercise and never losing weight, I’ve lost 30lbs and went from a size 14/16 to a size 8 in 5 months. I still can’t believe it!! Thank you FIT
Angie S.
FIT is beyond a “gym”. FIT is where I go to de-stress, tone up, get strong, lose weight, oh yeah…and have fun too!!! The workouts go by fast and the coaches encourage boot campers to push themselves!! We walk in and the coaches know our names; there is a real sense of belonging, inclusion and encouragement for us to push ourselves to broaden our personal best. I needed to lose weight and I was considering joining a gym when I was introduced to FIT- best decision I ever made! No judgment. No gimmicks. Lots of sweat, lots of squats, lots of laughs
From here on down is unformatted and unedited. We will tidy it up very soon!
I hardly know where to begin. I had given up. I just had assumed that for the rest of my life I would be fat and sedentary because I couldn’t find an exercise program I could feel motivated about, let alone stick to. This next part is so …personal and I told Eric I would never write about this, but….. Two years ago I was diagnosed with sleep apnea, which if you know anything about it, it comes with a whole list of complications besides the fact I couldn’t get a good nights sleep. Wouldn’t you think this was motivation enough for weight loss?? Nope. Finally, a few of my friends had joined and convinced me to just TRY bootcamp. Well, I thought I was going to get up half way through my first class, but I didn’t. I came back for my second free class as well, and the rest is history. Since I have joined, I have lost a considerable amount of weight…enough in fact that my sleep apnea is gone and I no longer need my machine and no longer snore when I sleep, which is great news for my husband. FIT has given me a new way to live my life. They have motivated me, pushed me, and inspired me to take better care of myself. The workouts are hard, but any person of any fitness level could come in and feel accomplished. I will never be able to say enough about Eric, Jeff and Tony and the great work they are doing for all of us. If you do one thing in 2012, it should be to come and TRY the 3 free visits FIT gives you and see the changes it can make in your life!!!

I am a former member of PF and I was the exact type of member they were looking for. They got me to sign the contract, I paid my $10 a month and my $29 annual fee for about 4 years. I might have actually gone to the gym a couple times a month if I felt froggy. Not once did anybody ask why there were such long gaps between my visits or if there was anything they could do to help me achieve my personal goals.
I joined F.I.T. in December, 6 months later than I first found out about the facility and what Eric and Tony were offering. I was in the same boat as many of you, I didn’t have the money available to cover the dues, so I had to bide my time and take care of some other expenses before I was able to sign up and become a member of F.I.T., so I completely understand where you’re coming from when you talk about not being able to afford it yet.
I felt more comfortable on my first day at F.I.T. than any day I spent at PF. Every person I have met and trained with since joining F.I.T. has been nothing but kind, supportive, friendly, not to mention modest!
Most gyms are not interested in assisting people who may not have the drive to consistently frequent the gym and put together a smart, safe and effective workout routine. They are after the person who is going to go in for the first few weeks and then let their visits dwindle until they no longer go at all. They know that these people are most likely going to keep paying their monthly dues just so they can tell themselves that they have a gym membership and it’s just a matter of time until they go back and restart working toward their goals (I know this because I was that customer).
If you are ever in the position to become a member of F.I.T. please come by and see for yourself that it is the best environment one could ask for to achieve their fitness/health goals!

Christina
I go to FIT 5 times a week to better myself. I have lost almost 95 pounds and 8 clothes sizes. It is worth every single penny. I have made some amazing friends at FIT that push me, comfort me, and cheer me on toward my goals. I would recommend FIT to anyone with a fitness goal. You should try it, it will change your life. It certainly has changed mine.
Christina has now lost OVER 100 POUNDS and has competed in 2 Triathlons and both of the Renegade Playground Challenge races!

It has only been a month but I successfully squeezed into my “pre-babies” jeans. I haven’t seen my butt in these since I was 19
Thanks FIT!

I am currently training at Fun Intelligent Training for an upcoming expedition to Nepal and a climb on and around Mt. Everest. I am also a police officer and have seen the benefits of this dynamic training first hand. I’ve been going to a gym for years but had apparently been wasting my time. FIT classes are fun, challenging, and I look forward to each one to see how hard I can push myself. I thought I was in good shape but quickly realized I could be in much better shape after attending my first “Dainty Boys” class. The classes have become addicting and results have not taken long to see. I have more energy and I am confident with the knowledge and help of the trainers at FIT, and my own blood, sweat, and tears, I will reach my goal of summiting Everest and getting in the best shape of my life. I wish I started this much earlier but it’s never too late. Thank you Eric and Tony for opening my eyes to this and thank you FIT: I’ll see you next class.

I have a background in martial artsand not so much in sports, running and lifting weights. I was having a really hard time keeping in shape ,But recognized I had to do something to get me off my BUTT! I heard about FIT from family members and decided to check it out. I was really surprised by what I learned. FIT was unlike anything I had ever seen before, and the bootcamp format reminded me allot of a martial arts class. After a few HARD weeks the classes got easier and I signed up for the kick boxing class too. I love getting cardio without running, and getting strengthtrainingwith minimal weight lifting. I never thought after years of doing nothing that I would be able to get back into shape so quickly and be able to power through a 2 hour work out without being totally useless after. FIT is awesome!

Before joiningFun Intelligent, I was your slightly bigger than average twenty something year old. I wasn’t athletic whatsoever, in fact I hard a hard time doing much of anything without becoming out of breath quickly. FIT has changed all of that for me. As a non exercise enthusiast, I was hesitant to be joining a gym at all. After only two months, it became the best decision I’ve ever made. The last thing in the world that I wanted when I joined FIT was to feel like I was being judged and looked down upon by other clients and the staff. I can honestly say that I’ve never felt those things in the eleven months that I’ve been going. FIT accepts everyone as they are, with no judgments regardless of your ability level and physical being. There are many aspects which make up FIT, and each one is as equally as important as the next. The workouts are intense, but never boring. The trainers are constantly mixing things up and keeping you interested and excited to try new exercises. FIT is effective. I’ve been attending boot camp classes for eleven months now and have already lost more than 80 pounds and am still continuing to lose. While you are responsible for what you get out of each class, you will never be alone at FIT. There is always someone there to push you, encourage you, support you, teach you, inspire you, and in return there is always someone there who you will do all of these things for too. Bottom line…if you are devoted to FIT, FIT will forever be devoted to you and in helping you become the most “fit” person that you are capable of being.

I’ve always loved working out whetherits running, playing soccer or just being active outdoors. When I first joined FIT it was just another way for me to work out, but I couldn’t believe the changes I saw. It was the first time I felt completely in shape in all aspects of physicality. I had improved strength and balance while keeping my cardio up. What I love most about this gym is that it is great for all levels of athleticism. Whether you are beginner or have beentrainingyour whole life this gym manages to give you the results you are looking for.

I workout at FIT 2 times a week (and am looking forward to adding a third day this summer) and I can honestly say I look forward to my two days there ALL WEEK! I have been going since December and I just feel better all around; stronger, healthier, and motivated. If your not sure about the “boot-camp”, try the intro class first. I found it welcoming and a nice progression into the other class. For me, I know it’s having the support of my class and the trainers that keeps me going back. When left to work-out on my own, I eventually got bored, and since no one seemed to notice, just stopped going. And to top it all off, I have met some great people that I look forward to seeing every week. I highly recommend you come in for a visit and try out one of the classes. Check their schedule online. There are many different options, even for a person with a full schedule. Once you start, I bet you’ll look forward to your work-outs as much as I do!

“Boot Camp” workouts are all the rage, and many places are starting to offer them. So, why choose F.I.T.? What makesFun Intelligent Trainingdifferent from othertrainingfacilities? Two words: Tony and Eric. The owners of this gym set the tone for everything that goes on at F.I.T. They are knowledgeable and professional with a combination of both practical experience and college degrees under their belts. They create afun, yet intensely serious, atmosphere in every class. They are excellent teachers, breaking down and explaining each exercise so it is done right. But most impressive of all is the fact that they are personally invested in the success of each member. They don’t just pretend to want us to reach our goals. They really mean it. You can’t fake sincerity like theirs. They have designed a comprehensive program that incorporates exercise coaching, nutrition instruction, personal accountability, and a network of friendship and support. F.I.T. is not just a gym. Thanks to Eric and Tony, it’s a whole new way of life.

This place is great. When I first came here I was a video game player who had the body to show for it. I was lazy and didn’t work out at all. Since I have been coming here I have lost my gamer physique and formed a thinner and stronger body that I am proud of. This is a great place not only to lose weight but everyone that you work out with isfunand very helpful. This place will allow you to strive for the best version of yourself. The catch however is that you must put in the effort to get out the gains. The trainers here will help you to find a better, healthier you with your help. I would recommend also checking out not only their fitness but also there other services such as Kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. I haven’t tried the Jiu-Jitsu but kickboxing isfun. Looking forward to working out with you.

Fun.Intelligent.Training. That pretty much says it all. I’ve been an athlete most of my life, and done my fair share oftraining. Never have I had this muchfun training, and I LOVE to train. Sure, you can go to a traditional gym and work out, and you can certainly get a workout in at home. What makes them better and worth spending your hard earned money on?Fun. It’sfun, seriously.Intelligent. I’ve been trained by many people and these guys know their stuff. The sessions are creatively designed to give great results that set you up for success, not failure.Training. Grouptraining. BRILLIANT. Who doesn’t want a personal trainer for a fraction of the cost. And really, who likes to work out alone anyway? And, you’ll never get bored, I promise. You never know what you’re going to get until you walk through the door that day. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or a couch potato, and rest assured, both go to FIT and love it, this place is for you. Take advantage of those 2 freetrainingsessions. In the words of NIKE, “Just do it”, you won’t regret it.

I used to get drive around to finda close parking spot at the mall and was out of breath walking from the car to the grocery store. I couldn’t bend over to tie my shoes. I had horrible eating habits and I weighed more than professional football players. That was before. Now, I run 5 miles a couple times a week. I park as far away from the grocery store as I can to get extra steps. I CLIMBED A MOUNTAIN. I owe all of these amazing achievements to the trainers and family that I met at FIT. I never thought I would be able to accomplish simple tasks so easily again. I have never been so strong, determined, and had as much confidence as I have now. Again, I owe this all to FIT. They have the imagination, knowledge, and experience to help anyone who is willing to work, succeed. I have never been comfortable in a gym setting until now. I always felt that people were staring, trying to figure out what that fat girl was doing there. At FIT, I have been cheered for, pushed, and challenged to reach my goals. I am happy to say that I am almost there. I have lost 94 pounds, of the 100 I was reaching for. 94 POUNDS!!!! People don’t achieve something like that without an amazing support system with the know how to get results. That is what I have found in FIT. I encourage anyone with a desire to lose weight, gain strength, cardio endurance, or any other type oftrainingto try it. They offer 2 free classes to get your feet wet. I can promise you that every minute there will make you better, it certainly has done that for me.

The results I have seen fromtrainingat FIT have been amazing. I would have never been able to achieve the level of fitness I have now on my own. Big Box gyms such as Planet Fitness will discriminate and keep you from being the best you can be, and they dont care about you.TrainingatFun Intelligent Traininghas revolutionized the way I look at exercise and the knowledge I have gained from these experienced trainers is almost as valuable as the physical changes. Thetrainingis effective and covers all facits of fitness. I went from a resting heart rate of 100BPM to 60BPM, gained 15 pounds of lean muscle and increased strength, power, cardiovascular and muscular endurance. You get out what you put in, and if you dont like working hard you won’t enjoy your time at FIT. Like the person “xyz123″ that gaveFun Intelligent Training1 star, they probably were not consistant or not determined to learn the skills necessary to succeed. If you like just breaking a light sweat on a treadmill while you read a book and eat pizza FIT is probably not for you.
Making your way in the world today takeseverything you’ve got. Taking a break from all your worries, sure would help a lot. Wouldn’t you like to get away? Sometimes you want to go Where everybody knows your name, and they’re always glad you came. You wanna be where you can see, our troubles are all the same You wanna be where everybody knows Your name. You wanna go where people know, people are all the same, You wanna go where everybody knows your name. When I heard the Cheers Theme Song recently,Fun Intelligent Trainingpopped in my head. It’s so easy to meet people here as you workout together, laugh together and motivate each other. And they ARE always glad you came. Getting in shape has never been morefun. But don’t take my word for it….get in here!

FIT IS FOR EVERYONE, YES EVERYONE!!!Are you considering becoming a FIT member? Have you watched some of their videos or spoken with a friend who attends and tells you what they do there? Are you thinking “Yeah, right, I could never do that.” STOP right there!!! You have never been more wrong….you could be the next “FIT Superstar”. I now consider them my extended family. FIT is a facility where everyone works together. I cherish my FIT family and encourage you to try the 2 free classes. Don’t let doubt get in the way. You can’t fail unless you try and then it isn’t failure it is conquering your fears and comfort zone. Just this past summer I was “signed up” to attend a Free Saturday event at FIT. My son informed my husband and I we HAD to go, our spot was reserved. I have used the conventional gyms….BORING!! How many times do I have to tell him how much I hate the gyms I have tried. This one can’t be much different. He called us from work that Saturday morning to find out where we were. “Just making sure you are going.” he said. We both decided to give it a try and stop him from hounding us to go. Because I am considered “middle aged” and approaching a difficult “change” in my life, I knew I needed to get moving somehow. So off we went for our “There, we did it. Now get off our backs son.” visit. IT WAS AMAZING!!! I haven’t looked back since!!! I have NEVER been so impressed with their unique style oftrainingand support!! It was clean, bright (with the overhead doors wide open and sun streaming in) and the people were FRIENDLY!!! That’s right, friendly. They were welcoming, had a positive outlook and were encouraging. They had no doubt we could do it…good thing too, because we had enough doubt of our own when we arrived. The other members watched out for us the entire class, as well as the instructor. NO gym ever gave me that much attention through my memberships. I am, as my own mother puts it “addicted” to FIT and all they offer. I have recently given the kick boxing class a try….YUP, you guessed it, love that too. This winter we experienced severe ice build up on our roof which led to leaking…OUCH!! My FITtrainingcame into use that I never would have imagined. Up to roof I went and started chopping the ice which was 4″ thick with a hammer. That lasted maybe 5 mins. when I shouted to my husband…”GET THE SLEDGE HAMMER!!” Off he went saying “Fine, not sure you will be able to use it, especially at the angle you are standing next to the roof.” Well, I showed him, I sledged for quite some time and broke away that ice. I never could have done that before mytrainingwith FIT. Thank you FIT for all you have given me.
Denise
This is the best all around stress free, comfortable, effective environment that you could ever work out in! So motivational to be there and wouldn’t want to be anywhere else working out! Thank you FIT Coaches!

Fun Intelligent Training, as cliche asit may sound, has changed my life for the better. I have been a member for just over 3 months. I attend 3-4 classes a week, including Kickboxing, Fitness Bootcamp and an intensifiedtrainingprogram called The Dainty Boys Combat Conditioning. All three of these classes provide a unique and challenging workout that have contributed to the increase in my overall health that I have experienced since becoming a member. Before I was made aware of F.I.T. I was your run of the mill member at a couple different fitness farms in the Concord area. You know the places I mean…the places that herd people through the doors, the ones that offer dirt cheap prices, loads of machines, that may or may not actually help you in achieveing your goals, and a staff that is just personable enough to sometimes say hello and goodbye on your way in and out of the facility. I would go to the gym regularly for a few weeks, maybe even a couple months, and I would see a little progress in my weight loss or muscle building efforts. I had no assistance offered to me by the staff and was even tempted with pizza and candy upon entering the gym! After a while I would get bored with going in to trudge through the same old tired and let’s face it, ineffective, workout that I had come up with by piecing together different articles I had read online. My visits would dwindle and soon enough I would stop going to the gym completely, while still paying my monthly dues no less, convinced that because I was paying for a membership that I would eventually go back. It was a vicious circle and I was stuck. Jump to the summer of 2010 and a family get together I attended and things got much more interesting. My fiance and I had just started a weight loss program and my cousin told me about this new place that he had startedtrainingand thought I might be interested in checking it out. He certainly peaked my interest with the things he told me about the facility. It took me a little while to get my butt through the doors of F.I.T. but I haven’t looked back since! Eric and Tony, currently the two trainers at the facility, are great! Not only are they trained, certified and very knowledgable about health and fitness but they are genuinely good guys. They care about each member and their individual progress. They take the time to know your name and remember it. They recognize that everyone that walks through their doors is an individual person with her or his own level of fitness. They are creative and innovative with theirtrainingroutines, modifying exercises to accomodate injuries or physical limits or increasing the difficulty for those in need of a serious challenge. The routines change for every session that they lead, showing how much time, planning and effort they put into each day. The intensity at F.I.T. is exceeded only by the energy brought through the doors by each and every member. Those of us who train at F.I.T. want to be there, we’re excited to be there and our mood is contagious! Before I actually signed up and became a member I scoured F.I.T.’s facebook page: www.Facebook.com/FunIntelligentTraining, reading all of their posts, watching their videos and moving on to their blogs and member testimonials on their official website: www.FunIntelligentTraining.com. I was so inspired and impressed with what I saw that I was sure that this was the place that I wanted to be to reach my health goals. After I became a member and actually experienced what I had seen and read… I KNEW it was where I BELONGED to reach those goals. If you are looking to push yourself and havefundoing it… If you want to lose weight… If you want to get stronger… If you want to get faster… If you just want to be a better you… Come try a class atFun Intelligent Training… YOU WILL GET F.I.T.!!!

You are not fit unless you are FITFun Intelligent Traininghas something for everyone. Whether you are a competitive athlete or fitness freak looking to take yourtrainingto the next level, Dainty Boys Combat Conditioning will build you into an elite athlete. If you are someone that want to get in shape but doesn’t really know how to go it, or if you are bored of the treadmill and free weights then Boot Camp will get you fit in anfun, engaging, and motivating way. And of course their Team Link Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program lead by world renowned practitioner Alexandre “Vaca” Moreno is top notch. If you have a hard time getting motivated, working out with a group of like minded positive people with the trainers instruction and motivation makes the world of difference. The results I have seen in my athletic performance fromtrainingwith the Dainty Boys is amazing. I would never have been able to achieve the gains I have made alone, and certainly not at a “room with stuff in it” place like planet fitness, where being your best is discouraged. I cannot stress enough the importance of performance coaching. If you think you can achieve your full potential alone at a gym doing the same workout week to week, then come to FIT and become enlightened.

Eric Marsh and Fun Intelligent Training are part of a new breed of gyms that are sprouting up around the country. Eric and FIT are part of a new breed of gyms…gyms that place the emphasis on member results and not membership numbers. Eric’s view of lifestyle compliance when not in the gym is essential to a long term healthy lifestyle. Eric goes to all the conferences, attends all the lectures and listens to all of the research out there. He does everything possible to ensure that he is constantly informed on the latest research and his programs show it. There is NO other trainer I would refer people to in the Concord area then Eric Marsh.

In preparation for a major grappling tournament I enlisted the services of Eric Marsh and the FIT Program. Not only did I come in lean and strong but I was a beast on the mat. This program challenged my body in new and functional ways that translated perfectly to my jiu-jitsu training and I can honestly say that the FIT Program had me in the best shape of my life!

I have only been to 3 Boot Camp classes so far. The first day I thought…yeah right…I can’t do this. Got talked into trying another class and it was fun!! I got worked hard but in the end it was fun. Yes I made friends with Tony too, even though I wasn’t sure he was friendly with the workout.LOL!!! 3rd class and it gets a bit easier to make it through. Still worked hard but it feels so good in the end. Everyone there is supportive and understanding. I am already thinking that soon I will bump up to three days a week from 2. If I can do this, anyone can do it. Congratulations to all those who continue to believe in themselves and want stronger, healthier lives. THANKS F.I.T. AND THOSE WHO BELIEVE IN US!!!
3 months later…
Three months into FIT boot camp and I am so glad I overcame my fears.
I am not an athletic person, never played any sports and had no self confidence to even attempt anything athletic. I decided that it was time to better my life and health. I have been with another gym and I was pretty much ignored by staff. NOT at FIT!!! I have been encouraged by coaches and other members. I am always greeted by name, which made a huge impression when I first started going. I actually thought WOW, they remember who I am after just one visit!!! I have been encouraged to keep going, keep up the great work, you can do this and many great laughs along the way as well as new friends. I look forward to seeing those friends and working through the workouts as a TEAM with them.
If you are thinking about giving FIT a try, my advice to you is GO!!! First visit is free and the strength and self confidence you build in yourself is amazing!! I tell my friends that if I can do it, ANYONE can do it!!! AND SO CAN YOU!!!

After almost failing a P.T. test required for my job, I realized I needed to make some changes. That was when a friend introduced me to Fun Intelligent Training. Never had I experienced such intense, dynamic workouts that involved every muscle in my body while focusing on developing functional strength, endurance, flexibility, and explosive power. Now, almost three months later, I feel stronger and more energetic than I have in years. I recently brought a much younger and allegedly fitter co-worker to a Dainty Boys workout with me and truly realized the progress I had made when after about 15 minutes he had to sit out while I finished. I can’t say enough about this program. The facility is excellent, the staff are absolute professionals, and there is a real sense of camaraderie among the members. I know for a fact that it is the only place I need to go to achieve any and all of my fitness goals and I am looking forward to getting into the best shape of my life!
Kathy Eder Tilton:
I have been attending boot camp for about 6 weeks, 3 weeks in, I took my motorcycle out for the first time this season and noticed right away that I was stronger by the way I was able to handle the motorcycle!!! 6 weeks in I have increased flexibility and I am looking and feeling better in my clothes!!!! Whoot!!!
About 6 months later…

Thank God for all of my exercising at FIT! I was able to hold up extremely heavy 4×8 pieces of plywood over my head while standing on a stool while on my tiptoes while scott screwed them in without getting tired. Last year when we did this I think I cried.
I used to go to Planet Fitness also at one point in my life. When I would go no one would help me or show me the correct way to use the equipment. So I would walk on the treadmill for 5 minutes, use a few machines and force myself to stay for 30 minutes. Yes it was less expensive but you get what you pay for. I left every time with no real plan or workout and guilty because I was wasting this money. Now I get a real workout because Tony and Eric care that I do. Plus I have learned to eat correctly!! Not only do I see changes in my body but in my overall health as well!!! Come and try it!!! You can’t put a price on health!

I grew up Irish step dancing and cheerleading and always being concerned about how I looked and if I was skinny enough to fit in, then I met my fiancé who introduced a whole new world of fitness to me. I fell off the path for a bit until once again, my amazing fiancé pushed and pushed for me to go to FIT. 3 months later I see changes in my body that some may not like in theirs, but I love. I have times where I look at an exercise and think, NO WAY, but then I do it and I feel amazing! I am strong, I can do things I never could before, and if I don’t feel skinny enough, that’s ok cause I know I can kick some ass, thanks FIT for making me into who I always wanted to be, and that is, no pun intended, actuallyFIT!

I used to phone it in at PF. I would go there and wander around, barely spending any time actually “working out”.At FIT that is simply impossible. You are literally surrounded by people all working towards the same goal – to be healthy.
No TV’s, no tanning booths, no people trying to hit on you while you’re trying to exercise. Not only are Eric and Tony great personal coaches for the members at FIT – so are your fellow members. Everyone there is more than willing to help one another learn the proper way to do an exercise or give unconditional support and motivation. I NEVER felt like I was part of anything at PF. The employees are there to look pretty and man the tanning booth – they don’t actually CARE if you reach your goals. Eric and Tony do. That’s the difference. Pay your 10 dollars a month and go to Planet Fitness.. .but you can only blame yourself if it takes you years to reach your goal since you’ll be doing it by yourself. Or stop buying your iced coffees, drive-thru dinners, and slim-fast shakes for a bit and put that money towards your FIT membership and succeed in your healthy living aspirations. It’s a simple choice. Reality at FIT or false hope at PF.
So, what are you waiting for?!?! Come in and train today and begin your journey to becoming the most “FIT” person you can be!
